This name and evidence
will be supplied to the Division by February
I6, 1996.
Work Plan: Greystone has received
quotations from three laboratories meeting
Division requirements for quality and
certification. In addition, Greystone will
independently review the Colorado
Certification for Drinking Water held by
each of the laboratories as well as the last
two EPA "WP WS" performance evaluations
to ensure laboratory proficiency. Upon
approval by the County, Greystone will
provide to the Division the name of the
selected laboratory along with a statement of
qualification for the laboratory, including
similar project experience.
Condition 15: The County will commit to
having the groundwater samples collected
quarterly at the approved monitoring wells
analyzed in the selected lab for at least the
pazameters listed in Tables 1 and 2
(following) from "The Basic Standards for
Ground Water 3.11.0 (SCCR 1002-8)".
Work Plan: Greystone will sample each of
the four monitoring wells under the terms
and conditions outlined. If requested
Greystone will handle transportation and
ensure proper custody of the samples while
under our control. Samples collected will be
preserved by using the appropriate
procedures outlined in Appendix I. In a
review of the groundwater Standazd, Table 1
and 2, Greystone has identified some
inconsistencies. The Tables 1 and 2
provided by Mr. Stevens do not match the
same tables as identified in the "Basic
Standazds for Groundwater" effective March
2, 1995. Greystone recommends that
clarification as to the pazameters and
reporting limits be made prior to sampling.
Condition 16: The County will direct the
lab selected to conduct chemical analyses of
the groundwater samples collected quarterly
at the approved monitoring well sites to
supply copies of the analyses directly to the
Division at the same time copies of the
analyses are sent to the County.
Work Plan: A copy of each final laboratory
report will be sent directly to the Division at
the same time copies aze sent to the County.
Costillall-96
2-5
