7. The applicant accepts DMG recommendations to seed the rangeland portion in September for fall <br />applications and in March for spring applications. We have already specified using straw as mulch and <br />crimping it in place. We accept the DMG recommendation of 1 ton per acre. <br />8. The applicant has no operator at this time. The applicant will require any operator who leases the pit to <br />supply DMG with the identity of any off-site water source to be used on this site. <br />9. The Reclamation cost estimate already has costs for reducing the maximum 800 feet of highwall by cut <br />and fill. The cost for using excess material to fill 1 acre site in the south end of the property has been <br />included in the revised Exhibit L. The cost for mulch is included in the seeding cost estimate. <br />10. The Reclamation cost estimate has been revised to include overburden and top soil replacement on 1 <br />acre in the south half of the site. <br />11. I have enclosed the Proof of Publication and Proof of Notice to adjacent landowners on or within 200 <br />feet of the proposed affected area. <br />Please let me know if there is any additional information that you need.
