<br />(a) Not applicable <br /> <br />(b) For Special 111 Operations and Regular 112 Operations, the area proposed to be <br />disturbed by mining operations for which a Financial Warranty and Performance Warranty <br />have been posted shall be the affected area. <br />6.4.5 Exhibit "E" -Reclamation Plan / <br />(2) (d) Where applicable, plans for segregation, preservation, and replacement, compaction and (/ <br />grading of soil, and used for revegetation. The revegetation plan shall contain a list of the preferred <br />species of grass, legumes, forbs, shrubs or trees to be planted; the methods and rates of seeding and <br />planting the estimated availability of viable seeds insufficient quantity of the species proposed to be <br />used, and the proposed time of seeding and planting. <br />The items referred to in the first sentence were answered in Section 3.1.5 Reclamation Measures - <br />Material Handling - earlier in this section. <br />The items referred to in the second sentence aze covered in detail in Section 3.1.10 - Revegetation <br />presented earlier in this reclamation section. Any that were riot will be covered in items (e) and (f) <br />immediately following. Detailed grass seeds aze available at seed dealers in this area in adequate <br />quantities. / <br />(e) A plan or schedule indicating how and when reclamation will be implemented. The plan / <br />or schedule shall include: <br />{i) An estimate of the period of time which will be required for the various stages of / <br />reclamation. <br />Reclamation will start as soon as operationally feasible afrer there is sufficient room for equipment <br />movement and stockpiling. This is estimated to begin within 2-3 yeazs at the earliest depending on <br />business demand for the products produced. Reclamation will follow mining as closely as possible <br />during the life of this operation. Plans aze to have reclamation completed within 5 yeazs afrer mining <br />is complete and all stockpiles removed. <br />(ii) A description of the size and location of each area to be reclaimed during each phase. <br />Mining will start on the south side of [he affected land in the NE1/4 N W 1/4 Section 22 on the east <br />end of the affected area, and will move north to St. Charles Road and then southwest until complete <br />and will continue southwesterly until complete. As explained earlier, a maximum of 100 acres will <br />be affected. Reclamation will follow mining as closely as possible and will probably encompass 5- <br />l0acres at each time. , <br />E-5 <br />
