History Well 21~ <br />• B Groove <br />• The annular interval above the Dissolution Zone well and below the B <br />Groove installation, from 948 to 1238 ft, was sealed with 230 sacks of <br />Class A Type II cement with ~2% calcium chloride. The cement was <br />placed via tremie pipe in three separate vertical lifts. <br />The B Groove well (21-3B) was installed after the cement adequately <br />cured, and completed with a 10-ft fiberglass, #20 slot screen at 909 to 919 <br />ft in ahigh-porosity zone near the center of the B Groove. <br />• The silica sand filter pack was placed from 898 to 923 ft. Bentonite hole <br />plug was placed immediately above and below the sand filter pack at 868 <br />to 898 ft and 923 to 948 ft, respectively. All annular fill materials were <br />placed via the 1.75-inch-OD tremie line. <br />The B Groove well casing was constructed with a string of Centron 2.375- <br />inch, 1.29 Iblft, upset end fiberglass casing in nominal 29-ft lengths from <br />surface to 909 ft. <br />• The annular interval above the B Groove well and below the A Groove <br />installation, from 718 to 868 ft, was sealed with 110 sacks of Class A Type <br />II cement with ~2% calcium chloride. The cement was placed via tremie <br />pipe in two vertical lifts. <br />A Groove <br />• The A Groove well (21-3A) was installed after the cement adequately <br />cured, and completed with a 10-ft fiberglass, #20 slot screen at 700 to 710 <br />ft in ahigh-porosity zone near the center of the A Groove. <br />• The silica sand filter pack was placed from 693 to 715 ft. Bentonite hole <br />plug was placed immediately above and below the sand filter pack at 684 <br />to 693 ft and 715 to 718 ft, respectively. All annular fill materials were <br />placed via the 2,19-inch-OD tremie line. <br />• The A Groove well casing was constructed with a string of 20-inch, 0.96 <br />Ib/ft, Schedule 80 PVC casing in nominal 20-ft lengths from surface to 700 <br />ft. <br />Uinta <br />The annular interval above the A Groove well and below the lower Uinta <br />Formation installation, from 509 to 684 ft, was sealed with 72 sacks of <br />Baroid Aquaguard grout. The grout was placed via tremie pipe in one <br />continuous vertical lift. <br />• The lower Uinta Formation well (21-3U) was installed after the grout <br />placement, and completed with a 10-ft, Schedule 80 PVC, #20 slot screen <br />at 480 to 490 ft in ahigh-porosity zone. <br />The silica sand filter pack was placed from 472 to 495 ft. <br />• Bentonite hole plug was placed immediately above and below the sand <br />filter pack at 462 to 472 ft and 495 to 509 ft, respectively. All annular fill <br />materials were placed via the 2.19-inch-OD tremie line. <br />• <br />
