the well in bedrock. A drillers log is available at the Colorado Division of Water Resources and well
permit X32833. Photos were taken of the well and the information on the sampling event is included in
this letter. Information concerning the well was obtained from conversations with Karen and Ralph
Topper.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) Water Quality Control
Division, ground-water permit guidance suggested monitoring well sampling protocol was used for
collecting the sample from the well.
Topper Well at 8125 E. 104`h Ave
Water Level 34.3
Total Depth 85 feet
Water Column 50.7 feet
Well Diameter 1 foot Z
Well volume 20.7 gallons ~
Pump capacity 150 gallons/min I
Total volume of water removed 825 gallons 40 well volumes ~
Date time level checked 8/20/03 420 PM
SamplinE the Lake on the Jeronimus Proaerty
The largest lake located in the east central portion of the Jeronimus property was sampled on August 6,
2003. CDPHE laboratory supplied sample containers were used to collect the samples. The Jeronimus
property was accessed from Brighton Blvd approximately one-quarter mile south of 104`h Avenue. A
boat dock is located at the end of the access road and was used for sampling. The caps were placed on top after the bottles were full.
The samples were placed into a Styrofoam "cooler" box provided by the laboratory. The box contained
frozen ice packs. The samples were submitted to the CDPHE Laboratory within hours from when the
samples were taken. Standard chain of custody procedures were used for the collection and delivery of
the samples to the laboratory.
Results and Conclusion
The water well on the Topper property and the lake on the Jeronimus Properrv were sampled and
submitted laboratory analysis using standard protocols and chain of custody procedures. The results of
the laboratory analysis show that D1MP was not found above the method detection limit of ~ µg2.
Yours truly,
MOLEN & ASSOCI ~_ ES, LLC
`~
t,~J
iv.(ark A. ivlolen
cc Mr. Robert Fleming, Adco Consulting
