V
Mr. David Andrews
-2-
January 6, 1988
I have also enclosed information on water analysis, holding times and water
quality standards. The Colorado Department of Health has placed very few
standards on the three draws west of Broad Creek. However, you should direct
your laboratory to use methodologies which achieve detection limits at or
below the Mined Land Reclamation Division material damage standards. Please
note that the aquatic life standard is hardness dependent. After evaluating
the hardness of your water, it will probably be possible to raise the
detection limits, thereby saving money on some of the analyses.
I hope that this is helpful to you.
have any questions.
Feel free to contact me if you should
Sincerely,

Catherine W.
