Commissioner <br />Earl Rhodes , County Attorney <br />Mildred Alsdorf Clerk of the Board <br />When the following proceedings, among others were had and done, to-wit: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-259 <br />A RESOLUTICN CONCERNED WITH THE APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF THE SALT CREEH <br />MINING COMPANY FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br />WHEREAS, the Salt Creek Mining Company has filed a petition witn the <br />Board of County Commissioners or Gatiield County, Colorado, for approval <br />Of a Conditional Use Permit to permit the extraction antl processing of <br />coal in accordance with Sections 5.03 and 9.02 of the Garfield County <br />Zoning Resolution of 1978, as amended; and, <br />• WHEREAS, a public hearing was held to consider the Salt Creek Mining " <br />Company Conditional Use Permit on December 3, 1984; and <br />WHEREAS, based on the evidence, testimony, exnibits, study of the <br />master plan for the unincorporated area of the County, comments of the <br />Garfield County Development Department, comments of public officials and <br />agencies, comments from all interested patties, this Board tintls as <br />follows: <br />1. That proper publication and public notice was provided as <br />required by law for the hearing before the Board; <br />2. That the nearing before the Board was extensive and complete, <br />tnat all pertinent facts, matters, and issues were submitted and <br />that all interested parties were neard at tnat hearing; <br />3. That the proposed land use will be compatible with the existing <br />land uses in the nearby area; <br />4. That the application for the Conditional Use Permit meets all <br />requirements of the Zoning Resolution of Garfield County; <br />5. That for the above Stated and other reasons, the proposed <br />COnditional Use permit is in the best interest OE the health, <br />safety, morals, order, convenience, prosperity, and welfare of <br />the Citizens of Garfield County. <br />• <br />E -ll ~~/4 /9i <br />
