' 2.4 THE COMPOSITE MATERIAL
' The material to be disposed of will initially be delivered to a
holding bin, and will be blended as it is re-slurried for disposal.
The resulting material will be a mix of the streams that produce
the disposal material. In the event that the mix does not meet the
specification for disposal material set out below (or subsequently
modified based on the actual nature of the disposal material
' encountered), inert material such as gravel will be added to the
slurry to bring it into compliance with that specification.

2.4.1 Nature of the material to be disp osed

The material to be disposed will be a m ixture of the components.
' Based on the above description s, the expect ed material to be
disposed of will have approximately the following average
' composition and expected maximum tonnage:
SOURCE ASH COAL $ PRODN TONS (MAX)
'
HANGINGWALL 90$ 10$ 2$ 20,000
' FINES 10$ 90$ 1$ 10,000
ASH 75$ 25$ 2$ 20,000

TOTAL 68$ 32$ 5.0$ 50,000
As can be seen, it is expected that the average disposal material
will have about 1/3 coal and 2/3 incombustible materials.
2.4.2 Quantity of disposal material
' The quantity of material to be disposed of is computed in the Table
above, and is expected to peak at a maximum of about 50,000 tons
' Adrian Brown Consultants -9- 1145/900820
