<br />4.0 HEALTH AND BAFETY I88IIES <br />' This section deals with the health and safety issues that may arise <br />from the proposed disposal system. They are covered in order of <br />' the regulations set forth in 30 CFR Part 70 (Mandatory Health <br />Standards - Underground Coal Mines) and 30 CFR 75 (Mandatory Safety <br />' Standards - Underground Coal Mines). <br />4.1 HEALTH ISSUES (30 CFR Part 70) <br />' 4.1.1 Respirable dust (570 Subpart B) <br />' The surface working area will be subject to normal worker dust <br />regulations as per §71 Subpart H; NCEC hereby affirmatively states <br />' that these requirements will be met. <br />' The disposal area is not subject to respirable dust standards <br />during the disposal process, as it is not an "active working" as <br />defined in §70.2(b).
