4. IMPACT ANALYSIS BY PRIME SPECIES <br />a. AVIAN <br />(1) WATERFOWL <br />Waterfowl are ubiquitous but restricted to the waterways that <br />provide suitable habitat for their life activities. <br />Suitable habitat xas found on several small livestock ponds and <br />along the Green and White Rivers. <br />Waterfoxl are prime species due to their values as a game <br />• species. Many species are summer breeding residents and <br />potential for migrating species is great. <br />Construction of the xater corridor proposes the only major <br />impact on the Waterfoxl population, but its severity is lessened <br />by the mobility of the Waterfoxl. <br />Impact could be lessened if construction took place after the <br />spring reproduction and fall migration periods. <br />In general, on a low to high perturbation scale of 0 to 10 we <br />estimate impact to be 0 to 1. <br />• <br />II.H-90 <br />
