SECTION 1.0 2004 Annual Reclamation Report <br />As specified by the revisions (1/3/90) to 2CCR 407-2, 2.04.13, Trapper Mine is submitting an Annual <br />ReGamation Report for the previous calendar year (2004). <br />Historically, section 3.5.3 of Trapper's mining and reGamation permit required a reclamation map be <br />submitted to the CDMG annually by March 15. Subsequent to 1988 the map entitled the "Postmine <br />Contour Map" was changed to "ReGamation Map." The reGamation maps developed from aerial <br />photographs taken during the previous fall shows pit advancements, receMOUred spoil areas and a <br />historical account of the previously regraded areas for the year. <br />The 2004 reclamation map is a composite of the aerial photographs taken in November 2004, and <br />shows the reGamation perforned during 2004 for all areas under bond. Map(s) 1 show the aerial <br />extent and location of disturbed acres, graded acres, topsoiled acres and perennial seeded acres during <br />2004. It also shows the location, aerial extent and reclamation year of all previously revegetated areas, <br />as well as the actual and projected mature shrub Gump establishmerd areas, topsoil stripping areas and <br />Iaydown areas for 2004. <br />1.1 Pertnittee Identification <br />The Pertnittee for this annual reGamation report is: <br />Trapper Mining Inc. <br />P.O. Box 187 <br />• Craig CO 81626 <br />Permit No. G81-010 <br />1.2 Results <br />Table 1.1 and Map(s) 1 show the 2004 reclamation resuhs. The various reclamation stages <br />are addressed below in separate subsections. <br />1.2.1 Disturbed Acres <br />In 2004, Trapper disturbed 45.0 acres resulting from topsoil salvage for pit advancement, <br />haulage cortidor construction, topsoil stockpile construction, and other miscellaneous <br />activHies as approved by the Division. <br />1.2.2 Backfilled and Graded Acres <br />Trapper backfilled and graded to final contour (AOC) approximately 120.6 acres in 2004. <br />These acres were in Ashmore, Derringer, Flintlock and Hawken pit areas. <br />1.2.3 Topsoiled Acres <br />Trapper retopsoiled 120.6 acres in 2004 in Ashmore, Deninger, FlintloGc and Hawken pit <br />areas. <br />1.2.4 Seeded Acres <br />• There were 120.6 acres seeded to permanent reclamation in fall 2004. Included were 91.3 <br />acres of former alive pit disturbance in Derringer, Flintlock and Hawken pits. A total of 29.4 <br />acres were reGaimed in assocated disturbance areas, including a small section of the old <br />B/C haulroad and a portion of the waste accumulation area in Ashmore Pit (5.2 acres), and <br />the Hawken Pit dragline haulroad area that included two recaimed topsoil pile areas (24.1 <br />acres). <br />
