EXHIBIT - C Mining Plan
1. Mining will commence upon receiving 110 permit, Life of mine will
depend upon demand. Most of the material is used in the precast industry,
Mining should be in the 5,000 - 10,000 ton per year range.
2, Topsoil is minimal over most of the deposit. In our processing we
can have no topsoil, therefore any encountered will be stockpiled to go
back on pit slopes upon depletion of ore.
3. Overburden and waste will also be minimal in this pit. What little
is encountered will be utilized in constructing stockpile pads.
4. Prior exploration drilling indicated Obsidian vein to be approxi-
mately 100 Peet thick. As it is exposed on the surface we will mine into
it to develop a 40' face and maintain that level.
5. All areas are listed on map.
6. Pit # 1 will be approximately 200' x 300' long. Pit # 2 will be
approximately 100' wide by 200' long.
7. Existing access road is 20' ± wide which is sufficient for our needs.
There will be no improvements.
8. There will be no water used in mining operations.
9. Most likely no ground or surface water will be encountered. As this
is an existing pit there are no indications. If so they will be contained in
the existing dike shown on lower part of map.
10. No water rights will be interfered with.
11. Our plant facilities are located in Canon City, CO. At this time
all processing is done there, If needed in the future a portable crusher
can be set up on site, but would be for short periods of time. Basically
the mining would be accomplished by driblasting, loading and hauling.
There will be no chemicals used.
Page 5
