The
percolation tests indicate a percolation rate ranging from about
two (2) min/in to less than one (1) min/in. The percolation test
results indicate little to no resistance to water flow through
the sand and gravel material.
The laboratory study included performing sieve analysis tests
of samples of sand and gravel material obtained from the test
holes. The sieve analysis test results are presented on Figures
6 and 7. The sieve analysis test results indicate a fine grained
material content, smaller than a number 200 mesh sieve, of about
3.6 to 6.5 percent. The sieve analysis test results indicated
that the sand and gravel material is relatively clean and will
likely have a fast permeability rate.
If you have any further questions concerning the geotechnical
engineering aspects of your project or if we may be of further
assistance please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
LAMBERT AND ASSOCIATES
~7~
W. ston, P.E.
AToVJ/nr
Reviewed by:
j~
~ .-
Dennis D.
