Voucher specimens were collected and confirmed or
identified by William A. Weber, retired Curator of the
' University of Colorado herbarium. Nomenclature follows Dr.
Weber's book "Colorado Flora: Western Slope; 1987; Colorado
' Associated University Press, Boulder, Co."
' STATISTICAL EVALUATION:

The calculation of sample adequacy followed methods
outlined on page 15 of the Division's Vegetation Guidelines
(Guidelin es for Compliance with Land Use and Veg etation

I RESULTS ---------------------------------------------------
Table 2 lists the average absolute cover for each
' species over the eleven transects sampled. In 1991, total
' vegetative cover was sampled at 32.5. In 1992, total
vegetative cover rose dramatically to 47.88, most likely due
' to a probable increase in local precipitation. Below is a
comparison of the contributions (relative percentages) of
each life form for data collected in 1991 and 1992.
