The mine surface was
reclaimed four years ago in 1988 and was sampled at
' approximately the same date last year (see Red Canyon Mine
Site Vegetation Monitoring Report September 1991). The
' ' mine is located within Sections 12 and 13, T 13 S, R 95 W,
6th P.M. near Cedaredge in Delta County, Colorado and is at
l
t
as
approximately 6400 feet elevation. As was the case
year, the reclaimed mine surface was considered to be a
single sampling unit. The purpose of this study was to
determine if the reclaimed vegetation was progressing in a
direction to eventually satisfy final success standards. it
t
ti
d
t
t
i
if th
a
on was goo
e vege
o de
erm
ne
was also of interest
enough presently to qualify for a Phase II bond release.
Sampling was carried out by Matthew S.
