• of these structures have not been varified by Rocky Mountain <br />Geotechnical and are presented only as reference to their <br />~. location with respect to the revised pile design. <br />CONCL•IISIONS ~]j2 SDMMARY <br />Based on the analysis contained within this report, the maximum <br />storage height which can be achieved and still maintain the 1.5 <br />minimum factor of safety criteria is 75 feet. This is based on <br />the assumptions that: <br />• The low strength, saturated fine refuse material will <br />be removed at a minimum distance of 80 feet from the <br />final toe location, <br />• That a mixture of fine and coarse refuse material will <br />be compacted to the specified moisture and density re- <br />quirements in the remaining portion of the pile and, <br />• • That the hydrolic control structures including the <br />internal rock drain are constructed and operating <br />~ property. <br />' Stability analysis verifying the 1.5 factor of safety is <br />presented on Table 1 and shown graphically on Figure 3. <br />Sensitivity analysis utilized for selection of the 75-foot pile <br />height is presented on Figure 2.
