Basically a dry land <br />seed mix will be used, broadcast at a rate o£ 50 pounds per <br />acre. In order to get quick ground cover and aid the dry <br />land seed mix, a cover crop of park oats will also be seeded <br />at the time of revegetation. <br />In the past we have had good success from a dry land pasture <br />mix marketed by Northrup King & Company. This seed mixture is <br />composed of the following: <br />Lincoln Smooth Brome 258 <br />Intermediate Wheat Grass 208 <br />Nordan Crested Wheat 208 <br />Slender Wheat Grass 208 <br />Russian Wild Rye 158 <br />As mentioned above at the time of grass seeding a cover crop of <br />park oats is also used to speed revegetation. <br />B-d <br />
