<br />Premises as even and smooth as practicable and no depression shall be left where stagnant pools may
<br />form.
<br />Section 13. WASTE DISPOSAL
<br />The Lessee shall make such provision for the disposal of waste, refuse and mine water in the
<br />mine or mines on the Leased Premises that the same shall not be a nuisance to or injure the lands of
<br />UPLRC or others, and the Lessee shall indemnify and hold harmless UPLR(' from and against any
<br />and all liability, loss, damage, claims, demands, costs, and expenses resulting from the disposal of
<br />such waste, refuse and mine water.
<br />No waste material shall be stored or disposed of upon the Leased Premises, except
<br />overburden material removed to facilitate mining.
<br />Section 14. LIEN
<br />The Lessee shall, at its own cost and expense, furnish all machinery, equipment, and
<br />materials necessary for the proper development of the Leased Premises, and shall pay in full all
<br />persons who perform labor upon said premises, and shall not permit any liens of any kind or nature
<br />to be enforced against said premises for any work done, or machinery, equipment, materials or
<br />supplies famished thereon, at the instance or request or on behalf of the Lessee, and the Lessee
<br />agrees to indemnify and hold harmless UPLRC from and against any and all liens, claims, demands,
<br />costs, and expenses of whatsoever nature in any way connected with or growing out of such work
<br />done, labor performed, or machinery, equipment, materials or supplies famished.
<br />The Lessee shall cause such notices to be posted in conspicuous places on the Leased
<br />Premises as may at any time be required by law to the effect that said premises are operated under
<br />lease, and UPLRC shall not be liable for any debts incurred against the property for work, materials,
<br />or supplies of any kind or nature whatsoever.
<br />Section I5. STATE AND FEDERAL ENACTMENTS
<br />Lessee agrees that in the exercise of any of the rights and privileges herein granted, it shall
<br />fully conform and comply with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws, ordinances, and
<br />regulations including those relating to workmen's compensation and protection or preservation of
<br />the environment, including such reclamation as may now or hereafter be required by such laws or
<br />regulations, as they may apply to the operation, development and reclamation of the Leased
<br />Premises. Lessee agrees to hold UPLRC harmless from and indemnify it against the payment of
<br />any and all damages, claims, costs, expenses resulting from the requirements of any of such laws,
<br />ordinances, and regulations or the violation thereof or deviation therefrom and from and against any
<br />and all demands, costs, and expenses in connection therewith whether under any asserted right of
<br />subrogation provided for by such enactments or otherwise, but only as the same may pertain to
<br />Lessee's operations on the Leased Premises, and the obligations hereunder shall be deemed to
