The Owner's Representative will conduct or observe all <br />measuring described. The actual field quantities may vary from 0% to 20% of the estimated <br />amount indicated in the bid schedule. If the quantity exceeds 20% then either the Owner or the <br />Contractor has the right to negotiate the unit price. <br />**The amount of square footage for the Slurry Wall in Unweathered Bedrock (Mudstone and <br />Limestone) is estimated. Final square footage will be determined by approved measurements of <br />length and design vertical depth into Unweathered Bedrock in which the slurry wall is placed. <br />The Owner's Representative will conduct or observe all measuring described. Excess vertical <br />depth into the Unweathered Bedrock in which the the slurry wall is placed will be counted with <br />final square footage if approved by the Owner's Representative. The actual field quantities for <br />Mudstone may vary from 0% to 20% of the estimated amount indicated in the bid schedule. If <br />the quantity exceeds 20% then either the Owner or the Contractor has the right to negotiate the <br />unit price. The actual field quantities for Limestone may vary from 0% to 100% of the <br />estimated amount indicated in the bid schedule.
