Please specify <br />the Location, materials and designs for the chemical containment areas. <br />Response: Chemicals used in the mill building will be contained in the mill <br />building. Mill building specifications will be provided upon <br />completion. Cyanide wi'1 be shipped to the site in Flo-Bins. Flo- <br />Bins are certified by DuPont and viewed by the U.S. Department <br />1 of Transportation as a safe method of transporting and storing <br />sodium cyanide. Please provide additional information to the Emergency Response Plan <br />regarding any release of cyanide or other hazardous chemicals from <br />contained or controlled areas. This information should include <br />identification and contact information (phone number, address) of <br />persons or agencies to be contacted such as the County Sheriff, <br />Colorado Department of Health, Water Quality Control Division, and the <br />Colorado Division of Wildlife. The order in which the various persons <br />or agencies should be contacted, spill mitigation methods, <br />(detaxificatiort materials, methods, and procedures and assurance <br />sampling) spill impact and mitigation monitoring, (water, <br />spill-flow-path soil sampling, including sampling parameters), <br />emergency documentation and reporting procedures should be included. <br />A flow-chart outlining procedures to follow and persons to contact <br />would 6e helpful to site personnel at a time when quick, deliberate <br />action is required. <br /> <br />
