The top soil of about 6" is <br />a layer of subsoil of about two feet <br />the gravel strata. <br />S. Vegetation Data: <br />Baca-Wiley- <br />Nelldrained, <br />on upland <br />underlaid by <br />before reaching <br />TY~e pit area lies in a pasture which is located in the <br />break area between the Haswell flats and the Rush Creek <br />valley. The pasture consists of native grasses, mostly <br />Blue Gra:mna with some Buffalo and Western Wheat. The <br />ground cover in t}iis area is approximately 50I.
