.: ~ . <br /> <br />EXI;IBIT E - Reclamation Plan <br />Topsoil: Topsoil will be stockpiled prior to mining. After grading is <br />completed, topsoil will be spread over the area as evenly as possible. <br />Fertilizer: A soil test can be made to determine the proper amount of <br />fertilizer. In lieu of a soil test, 60 to 80 pounds of nitrogen per acre should <br />be added prior to seeding. <br />Seedin Seeding will be done shortly after the topsoil is applied to <br />prevent excess weed growth and loss of soil by erosion. Seed will be planted <br />wi:h a drill designed to plan grass seed. At least 50% of the material <br />should be 10" or more in length. The mulch can be anchored by a disc plow with <br />it> discs set straight or a crimper. Enough weight should be on the plow or <br />crimper to place the mulch 4" into the soil. <br />Protection: The area will be protected from grazing and disturbance until <br />it is stabilized.
