LCC has also requested the elimination of two ponds from Jeff Canyon (001 and 007) and replaced them with ponds OOIA, 004A, 006A, <br />007A, and 009A. !n addition, outfa110/0 has been replaced by OIOA as mentioned previously for the new loadout location. <br />IIL RECEIVING STREAM <br />A. Identification, Classification, and Standards <br />1. Identification: Discharges to Jeff Canyon, Lorencito Canyon- all tributaries to the Purgatoire River which are within segment 6, <br />Lower Arkansas River sub-basin, Arkansas River basin. <br />2. Classification: Segment 6 is classified for the following uses: Use Protected; Recreation, Class 2; Aquatic Life, Class 2 (cold); <br />Agriculture. <br />3. Numeric Standards: The standards which have been assigned in accordance with the classifications for segment 6 are found in <br />the Classifications and Numeric Standards for the Arkansas River Basin (5 CCR 1002-32), last update effective June 3Q 2001. <br />Included are standards for dissolved oxygen (t5.0 mg/1, 7.0 mg/I spawning), pH (6.5-9.0 s.u.) and fecal coliform (1000/100 ml). <br />There are no metals or other aquatic life standards for this segment. <br />VL TERMS AND COND/T/ONS OF PERMIT <br />A. Determination of Effluent Limitations <br />I. E(Iluent Limitations: In developing suitable effluent limitations, the Division must review all applicable standards and regulations <br />and apply those that are more stringent. This review includes, but is not limited to: the water quality standard based effluent <br />limitations, federal guidelines and standards (40 CFR Subchapter N) and Stale Effluent Regulations (S CCR 1002-62). Such a <br />review has been done for this facility. The following limitations will apply. <br />
