-,.. _ <br />SECTION 1.0 1995 Annual Reclamation Report <br />As specified by the revisions (1/3/90) to 2CCR 407-2, 2.04.13, page 74, Trapper Mine is submiriing an <br />Annual Reclamation Report for the previous calendar year (1995). <br />Historically section 3.5.3 of Trappers mining and reclamation permit required a reclamation map be sub- <br />mitted tothe CDMG annually by March 15. Subsequent to 1988 the map entitled the "Postmine Contour <br />Map" has changed to "Reclamation Map." The reclamation map developed from aerial photographs <br />taken during the previous fall shows pit advancements, recontoured spoil areas and a historical account <br />of the previously regraded areas for the year. <br />The 1995 reclamation map is a composite of the aedal photographs taken in November 1995; and show <br />the reGamation performed during 1995 for all areas under bond. The Map(s) 1.0 show the location and <br />number of acres for the areas disturbed, backf"illed and graded, topsoiled and revegetated during 1995. <br />In addition, the location, number of acres and the planting dates for all previously revegetated acres are <br />provided. <br />1.1 Permittee IdentiTication <br />The penniriee for this annual reclamation report is: <br />Trapper Mining Inc. <br />P.O. Box 187 <br />Craig CO 81626 <br />• Permit No. (C-81-010) <br />1.2 Results <br />Table 1.1 and Map(s) 1.0 show the 1995 reclamation results. The various reclamation stages are <br />addressed below in separate subsections. <br />1.2.1 Disturbed Acres <br />In 1995, Trapper disturbed 240.14 acres resulting from topsoil salvage, haulage corridor con- <br />struction, topsoil stockpile construction, sediment pond construction, and other miscellaneous <br />activities as approved by the Division. <br />1.2.2 Backfilled and Graded Acres <br />Trapper backfilled and graded to final contour (AOC} approximately 205.83 acres in 1995. <br />These acres were in Ashmore, Derringer and Hawken pits. <br />1.2.3 Topsoiled Acres <br />Trapper retopsoiled 205.19 acres during 1995 in Ashmore, Derringer, and Hawken pits. <br />1.2.4 Species Planted <br />The species and seeding rates used at Trapper during 1995 were approved in TR-66 (3/02/96). <br />The mixes were seeded as approved (Table 1.1). There were 225.48 acres revegetated to <br />perennial species associated with mine pit(s) advancement. <br />• <br />
