RELATIONSHIP TO CCf1PREHENSIVE PLAN: <br />This property is within the Fort Collins Urban Growth Area. <br />III. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />The applicant proj~oses to install a portable concrete batch plant between <br />Taft Hill Road Bind an existing sand and gravel excavation area (G & L <br />Gravel). The plan would include an eight-foot diameter silo (32 feet <br />high), painted orange and mounted on a semi-trailer frame. A small <br />trailer office and an 8`x8' weigh hopper would be on the site also. <br />The hours of operation will be 7:00 a.m. to S:OO.p.m., and seven people <br />would be employed. Six redi-mix concrete trucks would operate from <br />the plant. The existing drive will be used for access. <br />IV. MAJOR CONCERNS AND ISSUES: <br />1. The G & L Sand and Gravel operation was approved on the eastern <br />10 acres of this property in 1981.
