;,_ .~ <br />i <br />± ' ~ COAL LEASE <br />THIS LEASE, made and entered into this 18th day <br />of October 1976, by and between GRASSY CREEK COAL <br />COMPANY, a Coloredo corporation (hereinafter celled 'Lesson"), <br />and SUN COAL COMPANY, INC., a Colorado Corporation (herein- <br />after called "Lessee'). <br />tiITNESSETN: That for and in consideration of the <br />sum of One Dollar (51.00), cash in hand paid, and of the <br />royalties, covenants end agreements hereinafter contained to <br />be paid, kept, and performed by Lessee, Lessor does hereby <br />lease unto Lessee upon the terms and conditions hereinafter <br />sei forth, and subject to the exceptions and reserve tionc,~ <br />hereinafter stated, all coal and coal mining rights and <br />privileges in and to all coal seams below the Trout Creek <br />Sandstone and down to the top of the Tow Creek Sandstone, said <br />coal seams being the lower group coals in the Iles Formation <br />1 (hereinafter referred to as the "leased coal"), to the extent <br />that such seams ace located in, upon and under the foll owing <br />described lands situate in the County of Rouit, State of <br />Coloredo, to wit: <br />T. 6 N..
