is j t 4.26 MOUNTAINTOP REMOVAL There is no mountain top removal associated with this technical revision. 9.27 OPERATIONS ON STEEP SLOPES There are no operations on steep slopes associated with this technical revision. 4.28 COAL PROCESSING PLANTS AND SUPPORT FACILTITES NOT LOCATED AT OR NEAR THE MINESITE OR NOT YVITHIN THE PERMIT AREA FOR THE MINE. 4.28.1 SCOPE This section establishes requirements for construction, operation, maintenance, modification, reclamation and removal activities of coal processing plants and support facilities incident to surface or underground mining activities not located at or near the minesite or not within the permit area for the mine. 4.28.2 APPLICABILITY Each person ivho conducts surface coal mining and reclamation operations, which includes the operation of a coal processing plant or support facility which is not located within the permit area for a speck mine, shall obtain a permit in accordance with 2.06.10 to conduct those operations and comply with 4.28.3. 4.28.3 PERFORMANCE STANDARDS Construction, operation, maintenance, modification, reclamation, and removal activities at operations covered by 4.28 shall comply with the following: (1) Signs and markers for the coal processing plant, coal processing waste disposal m°ea, and water treatment facilities shall comply with 4.02 No coal processing plant, coal processing waste disposal are or water treatment facility will be located within the proposed project area. (2) Roads, h•ansport, acrd associated structures shall be constructed, maintained, and reclaimed in accordance with 4.03 and 4.04. All roads utilized in this project are pre-existing.
