Suitability relative to actual
traffic volume and load is, however, indicated since the road has
been in use fora period of over fifteen years with no significant
deterioration other than that normally anticipated for the paved
surface.
The tipple haul road is a paved road with graveled shoulders and
some vegetative cover on shoulder and sideslope areas. On the
north side of the road, runoff from the paved surface and road
shoulder drains to an existing ditch. Ditch flow discharges to
the drainage Swale on the northeast side of the tipple area which
in turn routes flow to the tipple area sedimentation pond.
Limited runoff from the south side of the paved road discharges
to the adjacent undisturbed area. Consistent with Rule 4.05.2(4)
and given that runoff and sediment from the tipple haul road are
limited by the paved surface and gravel shoulders, the sediment
control requirements of Rule 4.05 are not applicable for this
area.
SI~ Section 780.13 Operation plan: Blasting.
Each application shall contain a blasting plan for the proposed permit
area, explaining how the applicant intends to comply with the
requirements of 30 CFR 816.61-816.68 and including the following:

C:\WORK\PIU\IC®tRUU092.R2V
ovrmroz km
780-24Ra Revised - August 1992
