<br />Revised 04/20/90 <br />Section 780.12(b) Continued. <br />The shop and warehouse complex was established in 1974 at the same <br />time the Marr Mine was initially developed. Only minor additions <br />have been made since that time, and no future modifications are <br />planned. <br />Kerr Tipple Facility <br />Included at the Kerr Tipple Facility are a raw coal stockpile area, <br />feeder breaker, double roll crusher, conveyors, stoker coal <br />stockpile, and train loadout. The Kerr Tipple Facility is located <br />in Sections 28 and 29, Township 9 North, Range 79 West, as shown on <br />Map 29, the Kerr Tipple Area Existing Structures; this facility <br />covers approximately 8 acres and was constructed during 1974. <br /> The feeder breaker consists of a (3) three-sided hopper into which <br /> coal is dumped with a front-end loader, a breaker which reduces the <br /> coal to minus twelve inches and an apron feeder which discharges the <br /> broken coal onto a 42 inch wide transfer conveyor which takes the <br /> coal into the crusher building where it is discharge onto a vibra ting <br /> screen. Any coal larger than 2" x 0" size will not pass through the <br /> screens, and will be passed through the double roll crusher for <br /> reduction to the 2" x 0" size. The crushed coal is transferred onto <br /> a 42 inch conveyor belt and transported to the train loadout for <br /> direct loading onto rail cars. Small coal which <br /> <br />780-17 <br />
