Section 780,11 (a) Continued.

ration for seeding will be achieved through chisel plowing to
alleviate compaction, to create a good bond between the topsoil and
overburden, and to promote root penetration. After the seeding of
the area has been done, contour furrowing will be performed to
stabilize the site prior to establishment of the vegetation. As
discussed in Section 816.111, premining vegetative productivity
will be reestablished at the Kerr Coal operation.
A list of the equipment used by Kerr Coal to perform the day-to-day
operations for coal mining is shown in Table 54, Kerr Coal Company
Equipment List. All of this equipment is owned by Kerr Coal with
the exception of that listed under the category, "Reclamation
Equipment"; all reclamamtion equipment, except for the rangeland
drill, is contracted.
(b) A narrative explaining the construction, modification, use, main-
tenance, and removal of the following facilities (unless retention of
such facilities is necessary for postmining land use as specified in
Section 816.133):
(1) Dams, embankments, and other impoundments;
(2) Overburden and topsoil handling and storage areas and structures;
(3) Coal removal, handling, storage, cleaning, and transportation areas
and structures;
(4') Spoil, coal processing waste, and non-coal waste removal, handling,
storage, transportation, and disposal areas and structures;
(5) Mine facilities; and
(6) Water and air pollution control facilities.
780-7
