-

Mr. Michael Refer - 3 - February 13, 1986
Exhibit G -
This exhibit will include potential impact to the ground water and surface
water systems, general operation water requirements, monitor well designs, etc.
Exhibit H -
Check with Don Bogart of the D.O.W. for an updated report (if necessary).
Exhibit I -
Check with the local S.C.S, agent for an updated report (if necessary).
Exhibit J -
See recommendations for Exhibit I.
Exhibit K -
No longer required.
Exhibit L -
Submit revised reclamation costs for the entire site. Warranty recalculation
is considered a crucial part of this amendment. Cost should be calculated
based upon worst case reclamation costs, which would be incurred by the State
of Colorado if the state were required to hire a contractor to reclaim the
site. We will also run our own calculations. Bond recalculation would
probably occur as a result of our coming field season inspections regardless
of amendment status.
Exhibit 0 8 P -
See requirements in Rules and Regulations (Rule 2.12(15) 8 (16).
The amendment will require proper newspaper publication and landowner and
adjacent landowner notification as required in Rule 2.22. I have detailed
some of the possible amendment contents so that we will save time during the
review process. No doubt there will be the usual adequacy questions, but
perhaps we can minimize such things with a very thorough submittal. Please
call me or write with any questions. Let's try to aim fora June, 1986 Board
consideration of the amendment. It would be helpful for everyone if we can
wrap this up prior to the heavy field season.
Thank you for your continued cooperation.
- ~
stneere~y,,:.: ,
,:
~,
17fa ~erry
Rec mYa an on Specialist
DS/tmb
7475E
