The and nature of the Ute mountain foothills and open terrain limit its use b}' wildlife
except for limited nocturnal and itinerant ranging of deer, badger, small mammalc,
songbirds, some game birds, raptors, and the spazce small reptile rigime.
Mining activity at the site shall displace this limited wildlife use very little. Habitat should
be greatly improved following reclamation of the site, having more desirable vegetation and
surface water control.
