In the cases where the water quality is poorer than these standards, the cause
• must be natural or related to activities not associated with the Mt. Gunnison
No. 1 Mine project. Indication of this is the fact that of the sampling
sites at gauging stations, only two, Horse Creek and South Prong, had any flow
during the December, 1977 water quality sampling.
