A detail of tlta methods to be used in the seismic survey is included in ESC's, "Proposal to USES to Perform <br />Pleld Exploration, Sylvester Gulch Light Use Road", pages 5 and 6. <br />31. 7hcre are no adjacent private landowners within one-quarter mite of the proposed survey sites, so blasting <br />nalice is not necessary for this project. <br />32. I.uaded holes sftall not be abandoned. Surface shots must be detonated the same day they are prepared for <br />shooting. <br />33. Loaded holes must be detonated within !wo weeks of loading. For detonation planned within 2 weeks, the <br />loaded hole leg wires connected to the charges must be protected as shown in exhibit 01 (attached) until they <br />are fired. <br />34. Eilaster's records of seismic shots shall be maintained and available for the Forest Service upon request. <br />3fi. The perntitteo shall provide a Statement of Completion within 21 days of completion of the seismic spocial-use <br />aperation to fife District Ranger that states: <br />a. All loadod explosive charges have been shot. <br />b. Openliny area has been cleared of all explosives and other materials used during the operation. <br />c. Any and aH damages to the 61ast area have been repaired to the satisfaction of the District Ranger. <br />d. All explosives stored or not used in the blasting operation have been destroyed or removed from the <br />National Forest System lands. <br />
