The Whirlwind Mine is a uranium/vanadium mine <br />with portal access at the Whirlwind and Packrat portals. Energy Fuels is currently in the <br />process of obtaining a 112d mining permit with the Colorado Division of Reclamation <br />Mining and Safety. Energy Fuels anticipates beginning production under this mine <br />permit on or about March 1, 2008. <br />Energy Fuels has included the following required forms and attachments: <br />• Air Pollution Emission Notice (APEN) and Application for Construction Permit <br />for Mining Operations <br />• APEN for Mine Ventilation <br />• APEN and Application for Construction Permit for Internal Combustion Engines <br />• Figure 1 -Whirlwind Mine Site Map <br />• Figure 2 -Whirlwind Mine Process Schematic <br />• Whirlwind Mine Estimated Ore Production Schedule <br />• Manufacturers' specification for generators <br />• Tables 1 through 7 -Emissions Calculations <br />Emissions calculations, provided in Tables 1 through 7, are based on EPA "AP 42" <br />emission factors, CDPHE emission factors, and manufacturers' emission data.
