Peaty hori- <br />zons occur between 3 and 18 inches. Gravelly or very gravelly <br />lenses are encountered below 40 inches. The control section is <br />mostly fine sandy loam or sandy loam with 1/2 to 6 inch lenses of <br />• coarser or finer textures, but clay typically averages 5 to 18 <br />
