The Bureau shall then take such action as required under <br />the acts and regulations thereunder The holder shall follow the tvitigalion reyuiremenls <br />vet frnlh by Bureau of Land .Management (BLM) concerning protection, proservatinn or <br />disposition of arty sites or material discovered. In cases where salvage excavation is <br />necessary, the cost of such excavation shall be borne by tltc holder, unless otherwise <br />• stated. <br />2. Topsoil will be stripped to a depth of 12 to I G inches and stockpiled ott the South cdbc <br />of permit area. <br />3. Trash will be cotttitted in a covered container and hauled to an approved latnifill. <br />4. All activity shall cease when soils or road surfaces brxome saturated to a depth of tluee <br />inches, unless otherwise approvc;d by the Authorized officer. <br />S. The White River Resource Area Manager will he notified at least 24 hours prior to <br />commencing reclamation work. <br />(i. Drill seed on <br />contour al a depth no greater than I/2 inch. In areas that eattnot he drilled, broadcast at <br />double the seeding rate and harrow seed info soil. Certified seed is recommended. <br />Fall seeding must be completed after September 1, and prior to prolonged ground frost. <br />7. If any fossils are discovered during construction, the operator shall cease coustnic[ion <br />ittttncdiaetcly and notify tltc aufltorized officer so as to deter-thine the significance of <br />tltc discovery. <br />S. Annual or noxious weeds will be controlled otl all disturbed arena as directed by the <br />White River Field Office Manager. Method of control shall he by an approved <br />mechanical method or an Fnvironrtrental Protection Agency (EYA) registered <br />herbicide.
