No person shall conduct coal exploration activides under Rule 2.Q2,2 until they have <br />received ratification of the Division's dettrminatioa on substantial diaturbaace and <br />qualifiratioat as coal exploration. <br />2. A determination by the Division that substantial exploration duhrtbance of the t>adrral land <br />surface by expIoratloa with removal of 250 tons or less swill require that the person who <br />proposes m Condttet the coal exploration post a Performance Bond prior to initiation of <br />exploration axordiag m the requirements set forth is Rule 3.05. <br />Aay person conducting coal exploration activities which the Division has detetminat will <br />cause substantial disarrbance of the natutnl land surface or which will involve ilre rcmuval <br />of more than ZSO tons of coal shall submit, in accordance with Rules 2,02.6(3) and <br />4.07.3(3): <br />a. A repots fot each successive 180~ay period during coal exploration activities, no later <br />than tea (10) bays after the end of that period. A rrnort will not be requited for <br />180-day periods of inactivity. <br />b. A final written report, no later than 30 days after the end of that period for which <br />Notiroa aR latent wm filed or writxa approval was grauuai. <br />a, A Drill Hole Abandoarrunt Report, with t50 lays of abandoning a drill hole. <br />(There thrtie Iiepo,Y forms w-e available fYnrrt the Divlston.) <br />4.
