<br />LARIAT MINE - Jefferson County <br />EXHIBIT D - Wildlife, Water Resources, Vegetation and Soils Information <br />Wildlife Species: Coyote, deer, cottontail rabbits, jackrabbits, <br />bobcats, raports, songbirds (seasonal), magpies, small rodents and <br />rattlesnakes. <br />Water Resources: There is no available water except for rain <br />and snowfall. <br />Vegetation: Cheatgrass, Little Bluestem, Big Bluestem, Needle <br />and Thread, Blue grama, Sedge, Junegrass, Western Wheat, Sand Drop- <br />seed and Bluegrass. See attached Conservation Service statement <br />for more detailed information. <br />Soils: The surface layer is dark grayish brown stony sandy <br />loma about four inches thick. The subsoil is a light olive brown <br />clay loam about 10 inches thick. The underlying material is a very <br />pale brown clay loam extending to a depth of five feet or more. <br />These soils are used mainly for grazing land and are not suited <br />for cropland. <br />EXHIBIT E - Reclamation Plan <br />When this operation is completed the overburden will be used <br />in reclaiming the land.
