1 -this season's reclamation activities. Following completion of the
• required reclamation activities this season there will be no
further transport of the topsoil pile under the terms of the
Agreement.
5. Schedule of Activities: Rockcastle intends to obtain bids and
select a contractor within the next three weeks. The work is
currently anticipated to be divided into three phases, Pit 4, Pits
5/6 and Pits 1/2/3. The Pit 4 work will be commenced first, with
the remaining two phases to be commenced approximately five to
eight weeks into the project depending upon actual site conditions.
Rockcastle currently estimates that the total project time through
mulching and reseeding will be approximately 16 weeks. This
estimated schedule for the work is, of course, dependent upon a
successful bidding process and contractor selection. Rockcastle
will update. you on the status and implementation of the project
following the completion of the bid process.
6. Extension of the Agreement: Given the anticipated schedule set
forth above Rockcastle believes the remaining work can be completed
and the requisite bond releases completed by December 31, 1992 and
would propose that the Agreement be extended until that date.
Rockcastle believes that it has made considerable reclamation
progress at the site and as such has demonstrated its good faith
• despite previous delays in obtaining bond release approvals as
contemplated by the Agreement. Rockcastle intends to complete its'
obligations under the Agreement and pursue final bond release as
soon as possible. We look forward to your cooperation as the final.
stages of reclamation are completed this season. Please contact m~'-
if you have further questions or require additional information.
Thank you.
Very truly yours,
PARCEL, MAURO, HULT-I~3-&_S\ STRA, P.C.
-~~...A.;,- ~~~
Dean R.
