.• ~ <br />REHABILITATION EFFECT OF RECLAMATION <br />• Although much of the surrotmding vegetation consists of <br />pinyon pine and juniper, the affected land .will be planted <br />largely is grass with some desert shrubs by recammeadation <br />of the surface owners, the Bureau of Land Management. This <br />type of revegetatioa will be of greater benefit to .the <br />rangeland snd wildlife habitat uses of the lead and will <br />provide better sad more immediate soil stabilization. <br />RECLAMATION TIMETABLE <br />Due to the small area involved and the underground nature <br />of the mine, constant use of the disturbed area is necessary, <br />and reclamation cannot begin until all mining activity has <br />ceased. <br />Within five years after reclamation has begun, the following <br />activities will be completed: <br />1. Sealing of edits, shafts, ventholes, etc. <br />•2. Removal of surface buildings <br />3. Grading of waste dump and other affected land <br />4. Preparation of seedbed, where applicable <br />5.
