I SECTION 1.0 1998 Annual Reclamation Report As specified by the revisions (1/3/90) to 2CCR 407-2. 2.04.13; Trapper Mine is submitting an Annual Reclamation Report for the previous calendar year(1998). Historically, section 3.5.3 of Trapper's mining and reclamation permit required a reclamation map be submitted to the CDMG annually by March 15. Subsequent to 1988 the map entitled the 'Postmine Contour Map' has changed to 'Reclamation Map.' The reclamation maps developed from aerial pho- tographs taken during the previous fall shows pit advancements, recontoured spoil areas and a historical account of the previously regraded areas for the year. The 1998 reclamation map is a composite of the aerial photographs taken in October 1998, and shows the reclamation performed during 1998 for all areas under bond. Map(s) 1.0 show the aerial extent and location of mature shrub clumps, disturbed acres, graded acres, topsoiled acres and perennial seeded acres during 1998. It also shows the location, aerial extent and reclamation year of all previously revegetated areas, as well as the projected mature shrub dump establishment areas, topsoil stripping areas and laydown areas for 1999. 1.1 Permtttee Identification The Permittee for this annual reclamation report is: Trapper Mining Inc. P.O. Box 187 Craig CO 81626 Permit No. C-81-010 1.2 Results Table 1.1 and Map(s) 1.0 show the 1998 reclamation results including areas topsoiled but not seeded in 1997. The various reclamation stages are addressed below in separate subsections. 1.2.1 Disturbed Acres In 1998, Trapper disturbed 130.71 acres resulting from topsoil salvage, haulage corridor con- struction,topsoil stockpile construction, sediment pond construction, and other miscellaneous activities as approved by the Division. 1.2.2 Back filled and Graded Acres Trapper backfilled and graded to final contour (AOC) approximately 117.21 acres in 1998. These acres were in Ashmore Pit, Hawken Pit and Derringer Pit. 1.2.3 Topsoiled Acres Trapper retopsoiled 127.29 acres during 1998 in Ashmore Pit, Hawken Pit and Derringer PR. 1.2.4 Seeded Acres There were 209.07 acres seeded to perennial species in 1998. These acres are in association i with mine pit(s) advancement.This includes the 81.78 acres laid down but not seeded in1997.
