• 8. PROPOSAL
SLURCO proposes to leave the spillway in its present condition (disintegrated riprap), and submit this
Technical Revision as a supplement to Appendix Q.
9. CONCLUSIONS
The SEDCAD+ analyses indipte that riprap is not required to protect the emergenry spillway of Pond 001
from anticipated discharges from a 25-year, 24hour storm event. Therefore, repair of the disintegrated riprap
in the emergenry spillway is not warranted, provided approval of the proposed Technical Revision.
CERTIFICATION
The proposed design is good engineering practice, and conclusions reached, based on the
information provided, are valid to the best of my knowledge.
B Walker, P.E.
Colorado Registration Number 18378
Date: Z fi l.~k 9 y
•
l J
(Canadian Slrip Mine, Pond 1 Riprsp Review, 27 Dcc 94, Page S of 5)
