• RULE 2.04 - APPLICATION FOR PERMIT FOR SURFACE OR UNDERGROUND MINING <br />ACTIVITIES - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR INFORMATION ON ENVIRONMENTAL <br />RESOURCES <br />Rule 2.04.1 - Objectives <br />The objectives of 2.04 are to ensure that each application provides <br />the Division a complete and accurate description of the environmental <br />resources that may be impacted or affected by proposed surface coal mining <br />operations. <br />Rule 2.04.2 - Responsibilities <br />(1) It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide, except <br />where specifically exempted, all information required by 2.04 in the <br />application. <br />• (2) It is the responsibility of State and Federal government agencies <br />to provide information for applications as specifically required by 2.04. <br />RESPONSE <br />A complete and accurate description of the environmental resources <br />that have been or may be affected by the Fish Creek Tipple and <br />connecting haulroad is provided under the appropriate Sections of Rule <br />2.04. Since the surface facilities addressed in this permit <br />application are existing and Twentymile Coal Company does not propose <br />any additional surface disturbance within the Fish Creek Tipple permit <br />area, negligible future impacts are anticipated. <br />u <br />2.04-1 <br />
