Before eve
would start to mine another pit eve would begin the reclamation
process of the completed pit. Therefore, at any one time during
our mining there will be approximately .5 acres of quarry area to
reclaim. As stated in EXHIBIT C - Mining Plan the quarry pits
are already open so there will be very little overburden during the
mining process. The over burden or waste xock that is produced
we will stockpiled use to help fill in the quarry pit for
reclamation: sec=d
~C
=~ ~
_~~ ~ aT~.
V ll r_t t l
__c_~.._
~._-L
I~rev;ovsl ~; s-~urbecl s~-fe
fir} door ~ ',~--~1oor'
% -i e rec.-1a=~ rw ~
...... _-
{b) The slopes of the quarry walls will be stable and left in
a configuration that is consistent with the previously disturbed
walls. The fuaished pit will look very similar to today. The
difference is that the pits will be 10-20 feet wider and 20-30 feet
deeper, which will make the pit walls taller. The pit walls are
consistent with the surrounding landscape and would not cause
any problem for future rangeland.
Pre-Mining Post Reclamation
.w--~..
-=~ PfiWc~i (s-I~.l~~~ pl~Wc~U C~l>
--:-:>
_ .._=- ,~
_ :-- .~.-..____~,~w~c1-.level - ~ -I - ~ ..
~.=. ~"
7
U
P . 9
1A~IP
