•
EXHIBIT E
Reclamation Plao
The beneficial end use is designated as a water storage reservoir.
[n the final reclamation state, the land will be reclaimed in the following categories:
Lake 40.0 acres
Shoreline 6.6 acres
Undisturbed ground 19.1 acres
Backfilled Area/Wetlands 13.2 acres
Total 78.9 acres
Slopes along the shoreline of the Phase II area will be 3H:1 V. As the mining progresses through
a certain length of shoreline, the overburden and topsoil will be replaced on the Lakeshore abo e / ~~
the projected waterline. ~e.,,,,,,,....~.~o~,~
Phase I will be backfilled with fines, umnarketable material and excess overburden from the n n ~
mining operations. This area may also be used to create replacement wetlands. ~,w.,~.~-~~ b~ n^°-`~" `
A service road surrounding the perimeter of the reservoir will remain for access following the
final reclamation of [he site.
The operator will comply with Rule 3.1 according to [he following measures:
In this area of Adams County, mining and water storage are a predominant use along the South
Platte River, thus the post mining use proposed here is compatible.
Reclamation Measures/Mnteria(s Handling
The mining will create the rough topography for the Lakeshore. See detail on Exhibit F for
proposed Lakeshore configuration. Bedrock and overburden will be placed on the shoreline for
final grading. Compaction of the bedrock will occur with scrapers and dozers. There are no
structures proposed here so no greater compaction is required. Final grading will be done along
the contours and revegetation will occur as soon as possible to prevent erosion. Lakeshores will
be graded and seeded within one to two years after the mining occurs.
The mining will leave no highwalls on the property. No acid forming or toxic materials are used
or encountered in the mining. There will be no auger holes, adits, or shafts left on the property.
Tlie operator will utilize concurrent reclamation in this operation.
Water -General Reyurrement
Disturbance of the area will be done to minimize the effect on the prevailing hydrologic balance
as follows:
TmmGe Pi!
DAfG I12 Pernii!
Pn¢e 7 of 46
