Mr. Tom Logue - 2 - February 6, 1986
9. Your reclamation costs appear low. (Costs for fertilization, mulching, and
retopsoiling?) Additionally, the costs seem to restrict the scale of the
operation after the first year and does not provide adequate room for
increased rates of production. Finally, existing costs appear very
conservative and do not provide sufficient detail of per unit and per unit
cost. It would appear reasonable to request the maximum 55,000.00
financial warranty for this operation. Once tangible costs and rates of
mining have been established in the field, it may be reasonable to
reconsider this issue at that time.
10. The Mined Land Reclamation Board will consider this application at the
February 26-27, 1986 Board meeting. Please respond no later than 9:00
a. m. the preceding Friday in order to allow adequate time for staff review
and response. Additionally, please submit your proofs of publication and
notification with your responses to the above.
Thank you for your cooperation through out the permitting process. Please
contact me if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
~~(~
Bradford Janes
Reclamation Specialist
BJ/tmb
7252E
