EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION PLAN

1) Upon completion of the mining at the pit, the affected area will be
a polygon shape in nature with side slopes not greater than 3H to
1V (3:1) slope. This area will be reclaimed once the mining has
reached a certain stage when it will be economically feasible to
reclaim that section of the mined area. The pit floor will be
reclaimed once the inventory has been removed. A layer of
topsoil approximately three inches will be applied to the affected
area and seeded with the appropriate seed mixture for that area.
2) a) The slopes will be tailored in a 3H to 1V fashion being formed
with earth moving equipment because it is the most
economical way to do it. The amount of acreage will depend
on how much is mined. Scrapers will be used to re-distribute
the stockpiled topsoil onto the pit floors and walls.
b) The previous use of the land was rangeland and it will be
returned to rangeland once all mining activities have ceased.
Rangeland and mining are the two primary surrounding land
uses.
c) In reclaiming the mined area the established use of the land is
rangeland. In consultation with the landowner this is what the
mined area will be after the permitted area has been mined.
Once the Division of Minerals and Geology has been notified
that the reclamation process has been started on the completion
of a phase, it must be completed within afive-year period; the
mined area will be reseeded according to the seed mixture
provided by the Natural Resource Conservation Service.
The slopes will be graded fora 3H: 1 V slope to create the final
topography. No backfill material will be necessary when making
the slopes. In making a 3H: 1 V slope will help combat erosion
and silting of the affected lands. This will eliminate the need
to stabilize any high walls. Once the grading has taken place, it
will then be reclaimed.
