• 9.0 GSN6RAL INFORMATION <br />Information in the attached report is intended to provide our recommen- <br />dations for geotechnical specifications for construction of the proposed <br />rockfill embankment. It is based on preliminary design information <br />submitted to us by Western Fuels-Colorado, our understanding of the <br />proposed construction; review of applicable Montrose County specifi- <br />cations and our experience with familiaz projects. Variations can and <br />do occur in geotechnical materials and departures from conditions <br />portrayed in the attached report aze possible. In the event conditions <br />aze detected that depart from those outlined in this report, Michael W. <br />West & Associates, Inc. should be notified immediately.
