it //
Si ~~ U~.
FINDItIGS AND RESOLUTION CON~ER`IING THE PETITION OF
LEE E. TUCKER
The Petition of Lee E. Tucker for a special review
of a proposed Wrecking Yard, Heavy Equipment Storage Facility,
and Lumber Yard in the O-Open zone, upon the following-described
property has been filed with the Board of County Commissioners
of the County of Larimer. The Larimer County Planning Commis-
sion on February 12, 1975, reco.-nmended conditional approval of
the proposed use.
On March 13, 1975, in the County Board Hearing Room
of the Larimer County Courthouse, Fort Collins, Colorado, the
Board of County Commissioners conducted a public hearing on the
special review. The Board of County Commissioners having heard
the testimony and evidence adduced at said hearing and having
considered and carefully weighed the same now makes the follow-
ing findings:
1. The special review request for a Wrecking Yard,
Heavy Equipment Storage Facility, and Lumber Yard upon the
following described property was advertised in a local newspaper
of general circulation as required by law.
2. The County Planner recommends conditional approval
of the use.
3. The subject property is located approximately 5/8
of a mile south of the Owl Canyon Road on the east side of Inter-
state Highway 25.
4. The North Poudre Irrigation Company, who owns a
ditch adjacent to the subject property, recommended that a fence
be installed along the east and south line of the property to
help control blowing trash.
